The installation
Self-aligning roller bearing A bearing equipped with drum rollers between an inner ring with two raceways and an outer ring with a spherical raceway. The center of curvature of the raceway surface of the outer ring is consistent with the center of the bearing, so it has the same aligning function as the automatic aligning ball bearing. When the shaft and shell are flexed, it can automatically adjust the load and the axial load in two directions. Large radial load capacity, suitable for heavy load, impact load. The inner diameter of the inner ring is the bearing with taper hole, which can be installed directly. Or the use of fixed sleeve, disassembly cylinder installed on the cylindrical shaft. The cage uses steel plate stamping cage, polyamide forming cage and copper alloy turning cage.
For self-aligning bearings, when the bearing with shaft is loaded into the shaft hole of the box body, the middle mounting ring can prevent the outer ring from tilting and rotating. It should be remembered that for some sizes of self-aligning ball bearings, the ball is protruding from the side of the bearing, so the middle mounting ring should be recessed to prevent damage to the ball. A large number of bearings are generally installed by mechanical or hydraulic pressing method. [3]
For separable bearings, the inner and outer rings can be installed separately, which simplifies the installation process, especially when both the inner and outer rings need interference fit. When the shaft with the inner ring installed in place is loaded into the bearing box with the outer ring, attention must be paid to check whether the inner and outer rings are correctly aligned to avoid scratching the bearing raceway and rolling parts. If cylindrical and needle roller bearings have inner rings without flanged edges or inner rings with flanged edges on one side, it is recommended to use mounting sleeves. The outer diameter of the sleeve shall be equal to the inner raceway diameter F, and the machining tolerance standard shall be D10. Stamping outer ring needle roller bearings are best mounted with mandrel.

For the installation axial clearance of self-aligning roller bearings, the adjusting nut on the journal, the thread in the hole of adjusting gasket and bearing seat can be adjusted, or the method of pre-tightening spring can be used to adjust. The size of axial clearance is related to the arrangement of bearing installation, the distance between bearings, and the material of shaft and bearing seat, which can be determined according to the working conditions. For self-alenting roller bearings with high load and high speed, the influence of temperature rise on axial clearance must be considered when adjusting clearance, and the reduction of clearance caused by temperature rise should be estimated. In other words, the axial clearance should be appropriately adjusted to be larger. For bearings with low speed and bearing vibration, no-clearance installation or pre-load installation should be adopted.
