The ring and rolling body of the bearing seat have high machining accuracy. In order to ensure the accuracy, life and main performance of the bearing seat, correct methods and steps and appropriate tools must be adopted. Practice has proved that improper installation of the bearing seat is often one of the main reasons for early bearing damage.
Bearing installation method should be determined according to the structure type, size and matching nature of the bearing seat. The installation method of bearing seat is pressure method, temperature difference method and hydraulic method.
(1) Installation of tapered hole bearings: directly install the tapered bearings on the pre-prototype journal, which can be installed by pressure method or heating method, or by locking nuts.
(2) the installation of cylindrical hole bearings: the installation of cylindrical hole bearings can choose the pressure method, temperature difference method and hydraulic method according to the requirements.
The so-called bearing seat clearance refers to the amount of movement when the bearing is not installed on the shaft or bearing box, the inner ring or outer ring is fixed, and then the side that is not fixed is moved in radial or axial direction. According to the displacement deflection, it can be divided into radial clearance and axial clearance.
The size of the running clearance (called task clearance) affects the rolling life, temperature rise, noise, vibration and other functions of the bearing seat.
When measuring the clearance of the bearing, a regular measuring load is generally applied to the bearing seat in order to obtain a constant measured value.
Thus, the measured value obtained is larger than the true clearance (called theoretical clearance), i.e. the amount of elastic deformation that occurs under the measured load is added.
