Rubix has acquired PTS Group, a German distributor specialising in fluid power, process technology and power transmission, as part of its growth strategy in the DACH region.

European industrial MRO supplier Rubix has acquired PTS Group, a specialist distributor based near Düsseldorf, Germany. The deal forms part of the Group’s growth strategy and strengthens its technical offer for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Founded in 2007, PTS Group operates from the heart of Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, one of Europe’s most important industrial areas. Over the years, the company has built a solid reputation across a wide range of technical fields, including hydraulics, pneumatics, valve technology, process technology, and power transmission and motion technology.

Beyond product distribution, PTS Group brings added-value services to the table. The company assembles control cabinets in-house and runs a dedicated repair service for hydraulic and pneumatic components, giving customers support that goes beyond supplying parts.

According to Rubix, the acquisition will allow it to combine PTS’s technical specialism and application know-how with its existing portfolio of products and services. The result is a broader offer for customers across the DACH region, particularly in applications where engineering support and service capability are as important as product availability.

The move adds to Rubix’s presence in Germany, a key market for industrial distribution, and reflects the wider trend of large MRO groups bringing in specialist distributors to deepen their technical expertise.
