The AGMA 2021 Strategic Resources Network Event, June 9-11 in Charleston, SC., offers a terrific lineup for future leaders starting with a 4-hour contract negotiation training course (included in registration price), a full-day of great presentations, an evening to network at a Low Country Boil, and a facility tour at the Clemson University SCE&G Energy Innovation Center.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy awarded a $45 million grant to Clemson University. The purpose of this grant is to design, build and operate a facility capable of full-scale, highly accelerated testing of next-generation wind turbine drivetrain technology.

The US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy objectives for the project are to:

•Accelerate the development and deployment of new wind turbine technology.

•Reduce the cost of energy delivered that will result in further growth in the market leading to economic development.

•Support the country’s push towards energy independence.

Attendees may see both 7.5 MW and 15 MW test rigs (subject to availability) during the tour.
