Siemens Digital has added features and updates for Simcenter SPEED, Simcenter Motorsolve and Simcenter MAGNET 2022.1 to improve accuracy, flexibility and connectivity. This 2022.1 update makes Simcenter SPEED and Simcenter Motorsolve more accurate and better integrated to Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
Simcenter SPEED offers:
•More accuracy: Temperature dependent material properties are now accounted for in the FEA analysis (GoFER) process.
•More accuracy: Coil-side model in induction machine models (PC-IMD) now available.
•More flexibility: with a new magnet geometry: “Taper Rad.”
Simcenter Motorsolve offers:
•Better connectivity: Export to .xgdf file format for data exchange with STAR-CCM+.
•More accuracy: Support of stepped skew analysis.
Simcenter MAGNET offers:
•More accuracy: improved modelling of nonlinear anisotrophy behavior in materials.
•Go faster: the new nonlinear anisotropy behavior modelling reduces computation time.
•Model the complexity: induced eddy current effects can now be modelled.
