Bearing heat treatment is directly related to the subsequent processing quality, which ultimately affects the service performance and life of parts. At the same time, bearing heat treatment is a big consumer of energy and pollution in bearing manufacturing. Bearing heat treatment equipment directly affects bearing heat treatment quality, energy consumption and pollution.

(1) Clean heat treatment waste water, waste gas, waste salt, waste oil and electromagnetic radiation generated by heat treatment production will pollute the environment. To solve the environmental pollution problem of heat treatment, clean heat treatment (or green heat treatment) is one of the developing directions of heat treatment technology. This puts forward high requirements for heat treatment atmosphere, quenching oil and cleaning equipment.
 
(2) Precision heat treatment Precision heat treatment is to fully ensure the stability of the optimized process, realize the product quality dispersion is very small (or zero), heat treatment distortion is zero, reduce the grinding allowance, improve production efficiency, save materials. To achieve precision heat treatment, it is necessary to have good uniformity of furnace temperature, accuracy of temperature control, and good coolability and stability of quenching agent. The precision heat treatment of bearings can be achieved by integral quenching and induction quenching.
 
(3) Energy-saving heat treatment use new thermal insulation materials to improve the energy utilization rate of heat treatment equipment; Optimize heat treatment process, improve process output, give full play to equipment capacity. At the present stage, all bearing manufacturers are doing this aspect of the test, such as making full use of waste heat, waste heat, some manufacturers have used the waste heat forging bearing parts spheroidizing annealing; The process with low energy consumption and short cycle is used to replace the process with long cycle and high energy consumption. The lower bainite quenching process replaces the carburizing process with shorter bainite quenching process to a certain extent and within a certain range.
